  • The Rolling Stones are a British rock band that was formed in London in 1962. The group, which is still active today, is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and influential bands in the history of popular music.

    The original lineup of the Rolling Stones consisted of Mick Jagger on vocals, Keith Richards on guitar, Brian Jones on guitar and various other instruments, Bill Wyman on bass, Charlie Watts on drums, and Ian Stewart on piano. Over the years, the band underwent several changes in personnel, but Jagger and Richards have remained at the core of the group.

    The Rolling Stones were part of the British Invasion of the 1960s, which saw a wave of British bands like The Beatles, The Who, and The Kinks gain massive popularity in the United States.
